Prepare Your Business for Auto Enrolment (My Future Fund).

 

In January 2026 the Irish Government launched "My Future Fund," the new Auto Enrolment Retirement Savings System. Under this new system, all businesses are required to contribute to a pension on behalf of their employees.

Employees are automatically included in the scheme if they meet all of the following criteria:

  • Are aged between 23 and 60.

  • Earn €20,000 or more annually.

  • Are not currently included in an existing pension plan.
